HISTORY OF LOMBARDI BROS
Lombardi Bros was established in 1972 by two brother’s John and Fred Lombardi, whom still to this day work in this industry. The Lombardi brothers started their passion for motor vehicles by starting at GMH Holden where they were quickly made into production managers. John Lombardi’s role at that time, was to be in charge of any panel or structural defects on the motor vehicles. Fred Lombardi’s role was to be in charge of the paint work.
When GMH Holden closed down the Lombardi Bros in 1972 then decided to purchase an auto body panel and paint repair shop of their own, where they were able to put their management skills and eye for quality repairs to good use. It is here their auto body panel and paint empire began.
Lombardi Bros PTY LTD is now one of the largest panel shops in Australia spanning over 4500 square meters. John and Fred Lombardi now have four auto body panel and paint repair shops in the Perth Metropolitan area.
Their love for Prestige and European motor vehicles to this day is still as strong as when they started and they are now moving forward along with their children within the business learning and adapting to all of the latest advances and technologies.
